Remodel of Employee Break Room - KCMO

Renovations, Etc., remodeled the employee break room for the Kansas City, Missouri, office of an international corporation that designs and manufactures conveyance equipment.

 

BEFORE THE REMODEL, the break room was adequate but not very attractive nor very convenient for employees. So much equipment was on the counters that there wasn’t enough available space for employees to use the counters for anything else.

 

We removed the original two doors at each end of the room and installed new framing and drywall to eliminate the doors and created a new 5-foot cased opening in the middle of the room.

We installed the cabinetry, appliances and countertops and painted the walls.

 

AFTER THE REMODEL, the area was clean and tidy as well as more efficient. There was plenty of storage space. The four built-in microwaves helped free up some counter space.
