About Us
Renovations, Etc., LLC—a general contractor in the Kansas City area—was founded in 1998 to specialize in residential remodeling and construction. Since then, we've expanded to include light commercial remodeling as well.
NARI certified
Owner Mike Pottinger is a member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). He has earned NARI's CR (certified remodeler) designation, and he is an active member of the Kansas City chapter. He served on the board of directors for 5 years as treasurer and national board representative.
Over the years, he has participated with other NARI volunteers in community service projects. For example, he made numerous trips to New Orleans and Hammond, Louisiana, to help with the restoration of homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
NARI certification is a challenging process requiring extensive knowledge of the remodeling industry and a commitment to professional conduct and continuing education.
